Food, Housing, Transportation to and from the worksite, will not be provided. Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday of employment and up to the expiration of the work contract. a) Prepare and cook large quantities of food for schools and other large venue setting.
(b) Clean, cut, and cook meat, fish, or poultry, bake bread, rolls and other pastries in large quantities following menus in compliance with applicable food safety standards.
(c) Preparing menus that are varied, nutritionally balanced, and appetizing, considering special dietary or nutritional restrictions, number of portions to be served and taking advantage of foods in season and local availability.
(d) Wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, other kitchen equipment. Inspect gallery equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness, functional operation and compliance with industry standards. Inventory and requisition, as needed, food supplies, kitchen equipment and appliances.
(e) Compile and maintain daily records of food and ingredients use and consumption.
(f) Provide guidance and train, as needed, to one or more food service workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.
(g) Train food preparation of food service personnel. Prepares requisition of food supplies, kitchen equipment, and appliances, based on estimates of future needs. May perform other related duties as assigned.
